THE league's main sponsor is chartered accountancy firm HPH.
It is approaching 20 years on continued support for the league, making it one of the York area's longest sporting sponsorships.
When the firm first sponsored the Vale League in 1993, HPH were known as Pulleyn Hesleton. It became Pulleyn Hesleton five years later and since 2004 has been HPH.
The business is well over 100 years old and moved to its current offices, the birthplace
of poet W H Auden, at 54 Bootham, York, after being based in Micklegate for many years. HPH also have offices at 21 Victoria Avenue, Harrogate.

SCOTHERN CONSTRUCTION
Scothern Construction Ltd sponsors one of the league's cup competitions and funds the grounds award scheme.
It first sponsored the Scothern Construction Cup in 2001, so has been involved with the league for more than a decade.
Currently it supports the ground awards scheme to the tune of £500 each season with £250 to the winners, £150 for the runners-up and £100 to the third-placed club for pitches and grounds showing continual improvement.
A family-run building company based in Malton, it operates throughout the Midlands and the North of England.
It has more than 40 years experience in the business within the many various sectors of the building and construction industry.
Ian and Paul Scothern are regular attendees at both the anual dinner and the final of the cup competition with bears their firm's name.

DRAX
POWER
DRAX Power have sponsored the league's Young Player of the Year award since 2007, taking over from BYB who had supported it since its inception five years earlier.
The award is one of the highlights of the annual dinner when nominations are whittled down to a final three candidates, who are invited to the awards evening.
Drax Power own and operate Drax Power Station, the largest coal-fired power plant in the UK, currently meeting 7% of the country's electricity needs.
The company is a keen supporter of youth cricket and since 2007 has sponsored the Drax Cup for primary and junior schools in Yorkshire with the final being staged at Headingley.

THE
PRESS
THE Press, York, provide certificates for winner of the Performance of the Week award.
The award has become an integral part of the weekly HPH Vale League report which is run each Thursday during the season. The newspaper, which is based in York, also runs those reports on its own website.
Known as the Yorkshire Evening Press since its first publication in 1882 until the late 1990s, the paper changed from broadsheet to tabloid format on in 2004 and shortly afterwards dropped 'York' from its title and moved to morning printing two years later, when the title changed to reflect the revised schedule.
In addition to York, principal towns covered by the paper include Selby, Tadcaster, Thirsk, Easingwold, Harrogate and Ryedale - areas containing Vale League clubs.
